Channing Tatum: Dragon Tattoo Star Rooney Mara Is Most "Terrifying Person I've Ever Met!"

We know Rooney Mara isn't as scary as Lisbeth Salander in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.

Even so, Channing Tatum admits he was more than a little nervous when they played husband and wife in the upcoming drama, The Bitter Pill.

"She's the most mousy and terrifying person I've ever met," Tatum, 32, exclusively told me at the MTV Sneak Peek of his soon-to-be released stripper movie Magic Mike. "She's such a little introvert."

Don't worry—he means all of this in the nicest and most complimentary way.

"She's also the sweetest little thing you've ever met," Tatum said.

In the Steven Soderbergh-directed film, Mara, 27, plays a young wife suffering from depression when her stockbroker husband (Tatum) comes home after spending four years in prison for a white collar crime.

"Rooney can get this glazed over like look in her eyes that you're like, 'Oh, God—I hope I never see that coming my way,'" Tatum said. "She's truly one of the most fabulous actresses. She has a skill set that I have never seen with the actresses I've worked with. Everybody's different and have the things that they're strong at, but she's special, for sure."

Any sexy scenes for us to look forward to? Tatum cracked, "There will be hot scenes in The Bitter Pill—during the end credits!"
